This 65' Princess yatch, which is too big to be transported by road, was entrusted to us to move it between a marina located in St-Paul, QC and the port of Montreal by barge. Precision work was carried out by our team to load it quickly onto Boatmen equipment before the winter icing starts on the St-Lawrence river.
In order to meet the customer's needs and to move the yatch safely, we went on site to analyze it, plan the move by developing securing and transport drawings and prepare the barge deck for transportation. Barge as too big for the Richelieu river so our captain went to get it and sailed to our Sorel dock, where it was transloaded to barge.
On the ship loading day itself, the yatch was loaded and secured under our supervision, the CMA-CGM team and engineer, assisted by the MGT port stevedores performed the manoeuvres so that the boat get loaded onto a container vessel safely.
