This cement klin tyre, which is too big to be transported by road, was entrusted to us to move it between the port of Hamilton and Bath by barge. Precision work was carried out by our team to load it quickly onto Mckeil Marine equipment using ship gear.
In order to meet the customer's needs and to move the tyre safely, we went on site to analyze it, plan the move by developing securing and transport drawings and prepare the barge deck for transportation.
On the ship unloading day itself, the tyre was loaded and secured under the supervision of our team and engineer, assisted by the QSL port stevedores. The transport and unloading at the end user dock went as planned, without a hitch with impressive dimensions of 7.62m diameter and 160mt. Final destination Bath, Ontario
