This valve, which was to go to New England, required extremely precise work in order to respect the clearances with the short-line rail road. It had to be shipped open with minimum protections to not exceed our permitted width.
In order to meet the customer's needs and to move the valve safely, we went on site to analyze it, plan the move by developing lifting drawings and prepare the railcar for transportation.
On the day itself, the valve was moved under the supervision of the team, engineers and customer because every step was well thought out, the transport went as planned, without a hitch. Final destination Northfield, Mass
