Our client will first have called on our expertise for a Lidar survey in the power plant tunnel. Then came the development of a logistics plan for the delivery of a new runner and arrangement of the old one. A work that was carried out over several days and required an equipment transfer before returning underground in a directional trailer.
In order to meet the customer's needs and to move the enclosures safely, we went on site to analyze it, plan the move by developing technical drawings and prepare the road for transportation as well as site for loading.
On the day itself, the runners were loaded under the supervision of the team, and because every step was well thought out, the transport went as planned, without a hitch.
This project is one of the many mandates that Andritz has given us over the years. In fact, we wanted to thank them for their confidence in Summit to deliver their large-scale transports."
